Odyssey Tours and Travels has been member of the worldwide UNIGLOBE Travel franchise network since 1st Jan 2005. Set up in 1979 in Vancouver Canada, UNIGLOBE is today the world's largest single-brand travel franchise company with more than 750 locations in more than 36 countries. Uniglobe in India is growing fast and already has 28 franchises in 40 locations including Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Goa, Coimbatore, Kochi, Gauhati, Chandigarh, Baroda, Rajkot, Anand & Jamnagar.

As a result of the franchising agreement, we are now known as 'UNIGLOBE ODYSSEY TRAVEL'. 1) Multinational network:
Being part of a multinational organisation with the support of UNIGLOBE's worldwide network of franchises, we can now service multi location travel requirements

2) Total Rescue Line:
A 24*7 emergency and crisis support service, providing direct access into every traveller's booking details. So you can contact the UNIGLOBE Rescue Line centers located in the UK when traveling abroad for 24-Hour emergency assistance.

 

3) Internet Flight Booking Engine:

Uniglobe is the first travel management group in India to develop an online booking engine where clients can check schedules, currently available airfares AND book their domestic and international flights online! One of the key differentiators of the booking engine is that the client’s booking (PNR) is cross checked by our travel consultants before the ticket is issued.

 


4) Worldwide Hotel Program:
We have a worldwide online hotel booking facility in partnership with Exclusively Hotels, a worldwide consolidator of hotels with real time inventory with over 57000 hotels in 7500 destinations. The hotel search engine provides you quick access to a wide choice of hotels (from 1 star to 5 stars) based on your search criteria. All the hotels featured on our website can be booked and confirmed online instantly.

 

In addition, we have access to several real time online international hotel booking engines with wholesale negotiated hotel rates


5) Airline relationships:
Airlines are increasingly looking at working closely with Preferred Partners and they recognise the potential of a growing network like Uniglobe. This would ensure a long-term healthy relationship with the airlines who may offer better fares, special deals from time to time which will further reduce our clients travel cost.


6) Uniglobe Odyssey Travel & Redsky:

Uniglobe Odyssey Travel has a specialized software called Redsky that continuously monitors all the international bookings made on our Amadeus reservation systems and is not only a quality control tool which checks that all the fields in the PNR are correctly entered, but more importantly, also monitors waitlisted PNR’s. So if there are some or all sectors in the itinerary that are waitlisted, the software automatically monitors the reservation system and picks up the seat if and when it opens up. Many a time, this software has helped us get lower fares for our clients.

 

7) Uniglobe Odyssey Travel & Consolidator Shopper:
Uniglobe Odyssey Travel has a tie up with Consolidator Shopper, a leading US based consolidator for flights originating in the United States, Canada, and Europe. This means that we can book for our clients, flights originating out of the US instead of issuing PTA (prepaid travel advice) tickets that can potentially lead to large savings.

  

8) Travel Management:

We offer pro-active travel management reporting on a quarterly basis with ready access to your business travel data. You can review spending patterns and analyze travel costs based on the reports provided. We would also be glad to oversee the implementation of your corporate travel policy.

 

9) Investment in Technology and Information sharing:

With several changes taking place in the travel industry, it is imperative to be kept informed on the latest airline fares, visa updates and special offers. To bridge this gap, we send out a monthly e-newsletter to our clients as well as regular corporate updates providing information on the latest travel news, airline offers and visa updates

We have a comprehensive database management software (CRM) where we record client’s data like meal and seat preferences, Frequent Flier Nos etc. The CRM software is linked to our Amadeus reservation system which allows a seamless transfer of information into the client’s PNR at the time of booking.

 

10) Leisure and Incentive Travel:

We leverage our direct partnerships with hotels and tour operators both in India and abroad to offer our corporate clients an exciting range of options both for incentive travel as well as to employees for their personal holiday travel.

11) Information sharing:

To bridge this gap, we send out a monthly e-newsletter to our clients providing information on the latest travel news, airline offers and holiday deals. In addition, a monthly e-newsletter Uniglobe Insight is circulated to our corporate clients.
